February 18th 2022 I am a landlord in the extreme northern part of the US. When a tenant brought bedbugs into one of my buildings in January, I had no idea the nightmare that had begun. A "professional exterminator" came in unprepared with plastic heaters and attempted to achieve kill temperature overnight as the outside temperature fell to 13 below zero. He failed miserably and charged me $3,000! We were calling with complaints about live bugs less than an hour after he left. I am very mechanically inclined and 99% of the time do not need to read directions. (READ THE DIRECTIONS!!!) I also had a flea infestation at another unit and the heater solved that problem as well. I have been bug free for a year and a half now. If bedbugs ever do return, I can safely and efficiently wipe them out for little additional cost.
